Continuing education

Continuing education is aimed at people who have entered working life. It enables people to receive training throughout their working lives to update their skills and adapt to technical, economic and territorial changes.

    Presentation

All higher education institutions evaluated by the HCERES are deemed to have met the quality obligation for their entire offer. Thus, they are exempt from the Qualiopi process for all the diplomas they issue. The establishments exempted from this procedure are listed by the Délégation générale à l'Emploi et à la Formation professionnelle DGEFP.

    For architects
Maintain and develop its skills to be an attractive and reliable partner for the client.

Since 2017, architects are obliged to follow a minimum of 20 hours of continuing education per year (or 60 hours over three years) and declare them on their personal space (website of the Ordre des architectes).
    They consist of :

    • 14 hours of so-called "structured" training: participation in continuing professional development activities carried out by approved training organisations.
    • 6 hours of "complementary" training: participation in symposiums, congresses, conferences, professional days (MAF), trade fair visits, meeting on BIM organised by the CROA, distance learning (MOOC), training activities and attendance at HMONP juries. All events related to the professional activity.

    For employees and job seekers
Develop your skills, reorient yourself, find a new job and access the different levels of professional qualification.

The School's continuing education offer is aimed at graduates in architecture, managers and employees of architectural and urban planning agencies, directors of technical services, technicians from local authorities, engineers, etc.
Each year, the School welcomes an average of 11% of employees in its post-master's courses and some thirty entrepreneurs registered in the incubator Échelle Un.

    Short training courses

    DSA d'architecte-urbaniste

History and future of inhabited territories
3.5 days open on average to training actions that contribute to a better knowledge of the territories we live in today: gentrified centres, large housing estates, sub/peri-urban housing estates, countryside...

    Urban economy
5 ½ days open on average to training actions allowing the mastery of the logics of operational and financial feasibility of an urban project.

    Urban ecology
4 days open on average to training actions aiming to shed new light on the interactions of the living world with the living environments for a project approach centred on the question of soil. Both a support for the living world and the basis of all design, the soil has the capacity to renew our view of ecology and the city, and is thus a key element in the current ecological transition.
