    2023-2024

    Léo-Paul Galland and Mélodie Mercier, joint 1st prizewinners of the Acier 2024 competition
    Léo-Paul Galland and Mélodie Mercier, both M1 students in the Elements, Structure & Architecture master's program (under the direction of Léonard Lassagne and Jean-Marc Weill), are winners of the Steel 2024 competition organized by ConstruirAcier on the theme of reclaiming urban wasteland. With their project entitled "More for Less - An economic and sustainable requalification of the Plateau de Gentilly wasteland", they tied for first prize with two other winning teams, and will present their project on October 16 at Steel In, the ceremony hosting the Eiffel Architecture Awards, where they will receive their prize.

    Pierre Kraft, Gaspard Lévêque and Lancelot Senlis, architects graduating in 2022, winners of the 2024 Festival des cabanes competition
    All three architects graduated in 2022 from the Matière à penser master's program (directed by Marc Mimram and Philippe Barthélémy), and took part in this competition to create cabins to be installed in May and June 2024 on the natural sites of the Communauté de communes des sources du lac d'Annecy, between Annecy and Albertville. With their hut no. 12, entitled Capture le temps, they propose a landscape device designed to collect dew water from mountain mists.

    Adèle Sorge and Arthur Poiret winners of the Palmarès des Jeunes Urbanistes 2024 award
    Adèle Sorge graduated from the Métropoles master's program (dir. David Mangin) in 2017, HMONP 2023, and Arthur Poiret obtained his HMONP in 2017. They are both winners of the Palmarès des Jeunes Urbanistes 2024 with the Tout Terrain agency, of which they are partners.

    Camille Chastanet, Félicien Pecquet-Caumeil, Justine Caussanel and Claire Vernhes, winners of the Palmarès des Jeunes Urbanistes 2024 award.
    All four graduates of the DSA in architecture and urban planning, they are winners of the Palmarès des jeunes urbanistes 2004 with their agency meat architectures & territoires. The prize, awarded every two years, recognizes young professionals for the originality, exemplarity and innovative nature of their contributions to the creation of cities and territories. This 10th edition took place against a backdrop of profound changes in the way things are done.

    Yanis Becquart, L3 Erasmus student at La Sapienza Universita di Roma, wins 2nd prize in the "Exploring Tartu Emajõgi and its watercourses" competition organized by LE:NOTRE Institute.
    The aim of this international competition was to develop urban and landscape design proposals for the green and blue network of the city of Tartu in Estonia. Among the 38 projects submitted and 10 participating countries, the one proposed by Yanis Becquart's team, entitled PermaTartu, took second place. The jury, made up of local and international experts in the fields of landscape, urban planning and architecture, noted in particular that the urban project was particularly well-suited to the preliminary territorial analysis.

    Belval & Parquet Architectes, winner of the Albums des jeunes architectes et paysagistes (AJAP) (Young Architects and Landscape Architects Albums)
    Awarded in the Architects and Architectural Societies category, Charlotte Belval and Pierre Parquet are two alumni (2011 diploma, Theory & Project stream, dir. Jacques Lucan) who joined forces in 2017 to found their agency and attended the school's incubator in 2018. Belval & Parquet Architectes considers that the architect's spectrum of exploration is immense, and investigates constructive, territorial, artistic, political, economic and sociological knowledge to develop a statement in the service of the general interest. By diversifying its practice and remaining constantly on the move, the agency seeks out the interstices to think and build an alternative, inclusive and shared city.

    Camille Lot (2017 graduate), Julie Maillard and Pauline Soulenq (DSA d'architecte-urbaniste 2020), winners of Faire.
    These three alumni of the school are winners of the Faire gas pedal for innovative projects, run by the Pavillon de l'Arsenal. Entitled "Faire l'eau brute", their research project aims to reveal untreated water (rainwater, groundwater, lakes, rivers, etc.) as a tool for adapting to climate change.

    Thomas Florès, 2022 graduate, winner of the 7th Prix des mémoires de la Maison de l'architecture d'île-de-France.
    Thomas Florès, a graduate of the Fragments master's program, is the winner of the 7th Prix des mémoires de la Maison de l'architecture Ile-de-France for his dissertation entitled "Villages and traditions, laboratories of crisis", defended under the supervision of Ido Avissar, director of the program.

    2022-2023

    Mallaury Fournier and Maëva Léger win the Prix 2022 des meilleurs diplômes de la Maison de l'architecture d'Île-de-France Mallaury Fournier and Maëva Léger win the Prix 2022 des meilleurs diplômes de la Maison de l'architecture d'Île-de-France
    Mallaury Fournier and Maëva Léger both graduated in 2022 in the Transformation master's program headed by Paul Landauer. Their final-year project focused on the rehabilitation of blocks in the center of the town of Joigny in the Yonne region, with work on different scales aimed at reclaiming run-down and vacant housing, revitalizing commercial activity, reducing the density of buildings and soil sealing, and finally enhancing the living environment, public spaces and heritage.

    Nicolas Nugue, M1 student, wins second prize in the Vers Paris 2050 competition
    Nicolas Nugue, a student in the Elements, Structure & Architecture master's program, and his transdisciplinary team combining architecture, engineering, landscaping and agronomy, won 2nd prize in the "Vers Paris 2050, affronter ensemble les défis de notre siècle" student competition organized by the Caue de Paris and the City of Paris. Their project, entitled "L'îlot 3S : la Seine, Scène, Saine", proposed transforming the Place du Châtelet into a genuine island of freshness by renaturating the banks of the Seine. All finalist projects will be exhibited at the Pavillon de l'Arsenal in 2024.

    The Festival des cabanes is an annual competition between architecture and landscape that questions our relationship with nature. For the 2023 edition, the project was located at the source of Lake Annecy. Teaming up with Merwann Krati (Ensa de Nancy) and Florent Rassendren (Ensa de Paris-Belleville), Lancelot Senlis proposed hut no. 4, "La robe des bois", which, like the 12 other winning huts, will be open to the public from July 1 to November 15, 2023.

    Prix des espoirs de l'architecture de BNP Paribas Real Estate (BNP Paribas Real Estate architectural hopefuls award)
    Adrien Gaillard and Nicolas GOURY, apprentice students in their Bachelor 3 and Master 1 (Transformation) programs respectively, win a special prize for their project entitled "La Tour Atlantique: Habiter le vertical" ("The Atlantic Tower: Inhabiting the vertical"). For this 15th edition of the competition, the aim was to imagine the "low-tech transformation of Paris-La Défense".

    2021-2022

    Cycle Up "Matériaux immortels - réanimons la matière " (Immortal materials - reanimating matter)
    Nicolas Passemier and Romane Pauchet Dupont, 2021 graduates of the DPEA Architecture Post-Carbone, won the 2ᵉ prize for their proposal for a low-tech worktop. The competition launched by Cycle Up, a circular economy platform, for young architects aimed to propose a piece of furnishing or fittings with a reuse or re-use approach to one of these 3 materials: false ceiling tiles, partition rail and cable tray.

    Europan 16
    Eight graduates of the DSA architecte-urbaniste program honored:
    Zélie Davodeau and Julie Maillard (Le sol, le roseau et le cycliste), finalists for the Naumur site in Belgium,
    Emmanuelle Blondeau and Léonard Cattoni (Niort, Port Terrestre), winners for the Niort site,
    Jacques Ippoliti, also a teacher at the school (Short stories), winner for the La Porte du Hainaut site,
    Bernardo Grilli de Cortana (Linking squares), special mention for the Levanger site in Norway,
    Gaëtan Amossé and Charlélie Michel** (The city as a living organism), joint winners for the Biel site in Switzerland.
    The theme of Europan 16 was "Living Cities", combining metabolic and inclusive vitality.

    **Trophée Béton Écoles competition: our graduate Quentin Toulemonde among the finalists!
    Every year, the Trophée Béton competition rewards young architecture graduates from French schools. Its aim is to reveal future professionals, sponsor them and give them visibility at the dawn of their professional lives.
    For the 10th edition of the competition, one of our school's graduates is among the finalists for his final year project (PFE): Quentin Toulemonde, who graduated last year and is currently enrolled in the HMONP program, is in the running with his project entitled Greek Basketball Institute. The School is already congratulating him on his selection, and is keeping its fingers crossed in anticipation of the awards ceremony, which will take place on January 13, 2022 at the Maison de l'Architecture Île-de-France, starting at 7pm.

    Les Marneurs named one of the "100 who make the city ".
    "Les Marneurs" is a firm of landscape architects founded by three graduates of the DSA in architecture and urban planning: Julien Romane (associate lecturer at our school), Geoffrey Clamour and Antonin Amiot. The name of their agency embodies their encounter at our school in Marne-la-Vallée. Les Marneurs have just been named one of the "100 who make the city" by Traits Urbains magazine. This list brings together 100 players selected by the Innovapresse editorial team for their investment in transforming the city, whether on a large or small scale.

    Nassim El Mankouch, winner of the 5th Prix des mémoires de la Maison de l'architecture d'Île-de-France.
    For this 5th edition of the Maison de l'architecture d'Île-de-France prize, 226 applications, 121 diplomas and 105 dissertations were received. Among them was that of Nassim El Mankouch, a recent graduate of our school from the Fragments master's program directed by Ido Avissar.
    The subject of his dissertation, La technologie-pharmakon : l'enseignement du Karlsruhe Institute of Technology : d'une vision curative de la société d'après-guerre à l'observation de ses insuffisances projectives, was presented at a study day held on Wednesday November 24 at the Maison de l'architecture d'Île-de-France, during which our teacher Ido Avissar also presented the Fragments master's program seminar.

    2020-2021

    ADC Awards 2020
    THE architects, one of whose founders, Joachim Seyer, graduated from the École in 2005, is the winner in the outdoor and landscape design category on September 9, 2020.

    **Academy of Architecture
    Arthur Dietrich, a 2016 graduate of the École, is the winner of the Prix du bâtiment est des métiers d'arts by the Académie d'Architecture.

    European 15
    Fabien Brissaud (2006, HMONP 2007), Olivier Dollfus (2006) and Aurélien Ferry (2008, DSA 2010, HMONP 2020), all three graduates of our School, received special mention from the European 15 jury for their "Be kind rewild" project, in 2019.

    AJAP 2020
    Jérôme Stablon (Bien urbain) was nominated in the "architects" category and Nicolas Besse (Atelier du sillon) in the "landscapers" category, both graduates of the École.

    **International Architecture Awards
    Fabien Brissaud, who graduated from the École in 2006 and HMONP in 2007, and Aurélien Ferry, who graduated from the École in 2008, DSA in 2010 and HMONP in 2020, are winners of the International Architecture Awards 2020, in the Community Centers category, with MaO architectes.

    Call for projects "Share your Greater Paris ".
    Emmanuelle Cassot, 2017 graduate, is among the sixteen winners of the "Partage ton Grand Paris" call for projects and has received a grant funded by the Société du Grand Paris, the Métropole du Grand Paris and the Fonds de dotation du Grand Paris Express.

    **Palladio Foundation
    Thomas Beillouin, a graduate of the École (DE in 2013, DSA in 2015 and HMO in 2018), is a prizewinner for the final year of his thesis, which he is carrying out as part of the École's research team, OCS (UMR CNRS AUSser). His work, entitled Les stratégies d'aménagement à l'épreuve des aléas littoraux, is directed by Sébastien Marot and co-supervised by Frédéric Bonnet.
    Moussa Belkacem is a new doctoral student in our OCS research laboratory, and has been awarded a scholarship to support his first year of doctoral studies in our school. His thesis supervisor is Paul Landauer, and he is studying the displacement of villages in Europe between 1945 and 2045.
    Julien Glath, a 2018 graduate, has had his scholarship renewed (he was the winner in 2019) to pursue his doctorate at Université Paris Est - Laboratoire Navier. One of the two thesis supervisors is Marc Mimram, whose subject is Construction-déconstruction des structures bois : vers de nouveaux concepts avec les outils robotisés.

    !MPACT 2020
    Gaspard Lévêque and Lancelot Senlis, 1st year students in the Matière à Penser master's program, have won the Frugalité / Mention du jury prize in the !!MPACT 2020 competition with their project "L'apicultrice", supervised by Jean-Marc Weill.

    Statut national d'étudiant-entrepreneur (national student-entrepreneur status)
    Tanguy Grall, a student enrolled in his 1st year of a bachelor's degree, has been awarded national student-entrepreneur status (SNEE) by the Pépite 3EF commitment committee. The Salacia project is an environmentally and humanly responsible clothing brand. It was initiated by Tanguy Grall and Pierre Many, students at IAE Lyon's "Gestion des Entreprises" master's program. It was launched through crowdfunding, which enabled the company to build up a stock of clothing that will go on sale in 2021. November 2020.

    Green Solutions Awards 2021
    Lisa Caraux, Louise Fréville, Quentin Oliveira and Jeanne Zanardo, all four PoCa Post-Carbon DPEA students, took on the role of jurors alongside their seniors, assessing a total of 71 buildings with their own perspective. The Green Solutions Awards are a competition for sustainable solutions for buildings and cities organized by the Construction 21 network, of which our school is a member.

    Minimaousse
    Antonin Delaire and Rafael Simoes, both PoCa Post-Carbon DPEA graduates, had their project selected as one of sixteen "Coup de Coeur" projects by the competition jury. Organized by the Cité de l'architecture et du patrimoine, this year's 8th edition of the competition focused on global warming and its impact on aquatic environments.
