Inégalités et préservation des sols
towards a just land transition
jeudi 27 novembre 2025à 09:00
journées d'études de la Chaire Transition foncière
The next study day of the Land Transition Chair will be devoted to the social implications of soil preservation. It follows a previous day dedicated to the links between soil degradation (pollution, erosion, artificialization, etc.) and social vulnerability. If degraded soils crystallize multiple social, spatial and environmental inequalities, how can they be preserved as part of an environmental justice approach? Can soil protection practices and policies overcome, or even reverse, these unequal relationships? How can a fair and equitable land transition be envisaged?
