As part of the ‘Habiter/Exister’ series, Ana Luísa Soares will present a selection of projects by the fala practice. A presentation entitled ‘Good Housing’.
‘Good’ is a universally understood quality, whilst ‘housing’ refers to a clearly defined programmatic concept.
Ana Luísa Soares (Porto, Portugal, 1988) is an architect. She graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Porto in 2011 and is currently completing her PhD at the same institution. Since 2015, she has taught a s a visiting professor at several Europe and North America schools, and currently teaches at the Yale School of Architecture.
Ana Luísa has worked with Harry Gugger in Basel and Toyo Ito in Tokyo, while also studying at the University of Tokyo. At fala, she has co-authored more two hundred projects and competition proposals, with nearly seventy works built to date.

Organised by the architects and lecturers Tristan Chadney, Laurent Esmilaire and Éric Lapierre, the ‘Tuesday Lectures’ series Habiter/Exister invites architects to present a small number of buildings in detail, using them as a basis to share their conceptual perspectives on the broader issue of housing.
